Information You Send
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is handled by the provider that supplies its results. Our servers do not keep a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message only to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may log an IP address, browser information, pages requested, and time of access. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand which reference pages are used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to operate the service, repair problems, measure traffic, and improve reference pages. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links can lead to Wayne County or Michigan portals, library collections, archives, and externally supplied search tools. The policy of the destination service governs information submitted there, including information sent through sponsored-result tools.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we retain. Michigan research for this service did not identify a statewide comprehensive consumer-privacy or universal data-broker opt-out law, so requests are handled through our contact mailbox and logs. Use the Contact page. Public records controlled by Michigan, Wayne County, or Inkster offices must be addressed to the relevant custodian under the applicable process, including Michigan FOIA, MCL 15.231-15.246, where it applies.
Updates to This Policy
We will post any revision to this policy here. Continued use after the posting date means the revised policy applies.
